Parents Information and News,

LIFE THROUGH THE LENS OF THE GOSPEL
You do not see things objectively. Your perception of yourself and God is shaded. Shaded by your experiences. Shaded by your personality. Shaded by sin. But what if you could change that? It’s time to discover a new pair of shades to see through.

These are the crucial questions our curriculum asks this year. How do our learned experiences, beliefs, and values influence how we see the world? Can we learn to see the world as God does? Can we appreciate how the Gospel changes what we see?
Things to expect this year. We are continuing our commitment to small group relationships and ensuring your students have a leader to guide them and pray with them all year. Watch for some planned activities and events to be announced soon. Stay informed by connecting with us in our texting system; that is how you got this message. Feel free to opt out by responding, and we will update our list.
Parenting is the hardest job in the world. Fortunately, God the Father saw fit to give us the perfect model in Himself when it comes to parenting. This short series parent guide is intended to encourage you to see your child as God sees you through Christ. When you see your child through the lens of the gospel, you’ll move closer and closer to parenting them the way your perfect Heavenly Father parents you.

Current Series Overview
Range. You might ask, what does this mean? How is this random word related to the Gospel? It’s not slang. This series refers to a specific region near Florence, Italy, that produces the best olives and grapes. This area's climate is perfect, providing a constant breeze and reducing the need for pesticides, and its location on a mountain range provides the perfect sun exposure for healthy growth without additives. It’s the perfect range. Apply this to our lives; we turn to artificial things to help us feel better. God has a better way, a range for us to live in without the need for the artificial, a life connected to him through Jesus.

When students can allow their freedom in Christ to color the way they navigate repentance, they’ll find gospel centered transformation in that area of life.
