Parents, hopefully, you have been following along with us. We know that we are finishing up our final lesson in our series on relationships and marriage next week, February 26th. This final lesson focuses on God's design for sex and its anchor in marriage and his design. This series will not just touch on the topic of sex but pornography as well. Why does this matter? The statistics on its use are surprising, and God's does have something to say on the matter.

We know this is a sensitive topic in our world and that God's word gives good wisdom in this space. In honoring this space, we are inviting you to look ahead at the lesson; we will be showing the video below. Also included are the questions we will work through around this topic. Format for teaching

The plan for this youth night topic will be to split into separate boys and girls groups to view the lesson video.  The students will have individual time to work through all of the small group questions first. We will then again gather as larger boys and girls groups to walk through the questions together. 

 

Guidance for the evening will be that we are focusing on these questions only. If students have individual questions, they ask SGLs or coaches of the same gender individually and privately. A likely answer for students may be, "Hey, this sounds like a great question to ask your parents."
