Current Open Position: Kids Ministry Director
Position Designation: Regular Full Time (40 hrs/week); Ministry Staff
Purpose of New Hope Community Church
We exist to know God and glorify Him by making disciples of Jesus Christ.
General Description:
The Kids Ministry Director oversees all discipleship programs for children ages 0 through 5th grade.
Primary Responsibilities:
Facilitate Sunday morning kids & nursery program

Plan and oversee curriculum for the Sunday morning Kids Ministry program

Ensure that a reliable kids check-in system is implemented
-
Work with the New Hope Security Team to ensure security for Kids Min. Hallway
Volunteer management
-
Recruit, screen, & interview Kids Ministry volunteers, teachers, nursery workers, & security
-
Manage, train (regular in-person trainings), support, & encourage Kids Ministry volunteers
-
Schedule volunteers, teachers, & security people for Sunday morning
Administration
-
Communicate regularly with parents & congregation about the Kids Ministry program

Develop and make available resources for Kids Min parents
-
Oversee and manage the Kids Ministry budget
-
Develop & update policies & procedures to follow best practices in Kids Ministry
-
Develop an annual Plan of Work for Kids Ministry with annual goals
-
Attend weekly staff meetings
-
Keep a daily work calendar that is available to the church office
-
Other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor
Events

Work with the Student Min Pastor to offer parent development opportunities

Plan & coordinate Ambassadors Soccer Camp
-
Plan & coordinate annual Vacation Bible School program

Plan & coordinate other Kids Ministry events such as Easter Jam, Trunk R Treat, etc...
Supervisor: The Kids Ministry Director is responsible to the Lead Pastor.
